You may have nicknamed your ex Jewel and found out Ice is easier to spell. This Jewel is what a dog different 💎

That’s why, in partnership with our friends at Whataburger, she is our first Whatadog spotlight. She enjoyed her adorable new collar, leash and bowl.

But even more than that, she enjoyed all of the attention and love she got.

We get a sense that this beautiful, gentle girl hasn’t gotten nearly enough of that in her life. She was found abandoned in a crate in the back of a truck and now has been at the shelter, where the noise and non-stop movements overwhelm her.

During our photo shoot, she kept coming in close to just lean against us, like she was seeking comfort and calm.

She loves going for walks and getting to play outside, and she has done well with other dogs. She’s also quite talented at winning the hearts of everyone she meets — she’s a big favorite of volunteers and staff.

If you look at her and think “Whatadog” too, come by and meet her soon! Ask for Jewel (A159758) when you stop in.
