Yesterday the Animal Shelter posted about a fun way to support their medical fund. Howie is one example of how the fund saves animals' lives.
His name is Howie, and his transformation has been nothing short of miraculous.
In the last photo, you can see how he came to us: in rough shape and so exhausted that even during his intake and examination, all he could do was sleep.
He’s been with us for a couple of months now, and under the care of our team and because of your donations, he has come so far. In fact, he’s almost unrecognizable. ❤️
Gone is the exhausted pup with huge patches of missing fur. In his place is a handsome, distinguished and rather dapper gentleman who only gets better-looking every day.
He’s a gentle sweetheart who still isn’t quite used to all the love and affection he gets when we have him out. He’s a slow and steady, quiet sort of guy who loves wholeheartedly once he gets past the first few seconds of slight shyness.
The world hasn’t always been kind to him, but if you’re the person who will be, we would love for you to come meet two-year-old Howie (A162183).
