We are in need of frisbees and carabiners!...
Attaching frisbees smeared with peanut butter to a dog's kennel provides much-needed enrichment and gives them a tasty treat at the same time. Enrichment is super important as it helps with the boredom that comes from being in the kennel by providing mental stimulation and gives them something to do. Lack of enrichment can keep them from being able to handle the stress of shelter life - noisy, being stuck in a kennel, etc. - which can possibly hurt their adoptability. The ultimate goal is to get all of these amazing dogs in our care into good, loving homes, so we want to do everything we can to help them! If you are able to donate a frisbee or two with carabiners to attach them to the kennel, we know these dogs will enjoy them so much and would thank you if they could!
