🎄 Holiday Shopping Safety Tips from the Pasadena Police Department 🎄
As the holiday season approaches, the Pasadena Police Department encourages everyone to prioritize safety while shopping. Here are some essential tips to keep in mind:
*Stay Alert: Be aware of your surroundings, especially in parking lots and crowded areas. Avoid distractions like using your phone.
*Secure Your Valuables: Keep purses, wallets, and shopping bags close to your body. Never leave them unattended in shopping carts or vehicles.
*Use Secure Payment Methods: Opt for credit cards over cash, and utilize contactless payment options when available.
*Shop on Trusted Websites: When shopping online, avoid using public Wi-Fi networks.
*Protect Your Packages: Arrange for deliveries when someone is home, or use secure pickup locations to prevent theft.
*Lock Your Car Doors: Always lock your vehicle, even if you're stepping away for a moment. An unlocked car is an easy target for thieves.
By following these precautions, you can help ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday shopping experience.
Happy Holidays, Pasadena!
