Toons hit a milestone being the longest resident at a short term facility. Can you free him from his concrete flat?
Toons was one of the stars of the Easter egg hunt video we posted this afternoon. He might not have known quite how he felt about hunting Easter eggs, but there was no doubt how he felt about the tennis ball: it was true love.
He was a little subdued when we first got him for the egg hunt. Sadly, this handsome guy is one of our longest-stay dogs, and it seems like it’s getting him a little down.
But when he saw us pick up that tennis ball, he became a totally different dog.
After a few minutes of fetch, he was the happiest, friendliest, most loving guy. (He still didn’t know what to make of the whole egg hunting thing though. 😄)
We want to find him a home where he feels that same joy all the time, with or without the tennis ball…although he would really, really like if there were tennis balls involved.
If you can provide that, Toons would very much like to meet you. We are closed this weekend, but you can start the process now by applying online (application linked in comments) and/or coming in next week.
Ask for Toons (A157680), the three-year-old Lab mix when you get here.
