Tomorrow both the libraries are The Buzz About Bees with presenter Kim Leman!
Tomorrow both Central and Fairmont Library will be having presenter Kim Leman! 🐝🐙
Fairmont: The Buzz About Bees
10:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Did you know it takes a million flowers to make a pound of honey? Come learn more fun facts about honey bees. After a presentation you will taste honey from different floral sources, view magnified bee body parts, try on beekeeping suits, sample lotion made with beeswax, make bee finger puppets and much more.
Central: Wonderful Wonders of Water
3:00 PM to 3:30 PM
This program combines a little science and a lot of folklore about water, creatures that live in the ocean, and sea adventures.
A big thank you to the Texas Commission on the Arts for sponsoring our Kim Leman children’s programs. Their grants helped cover a partial amount of the program’s fees.
