This morning PPD joined MADD's walk to raise funds to end drunk and drugged driving.
This morning, officers from the Pasadena Police Department joined M.A.D.D. (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) in their walk to raise awareness and funds to end drunk driving and drugged driving.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) there is one alcohol-related death every 52 minutes in the United States. Drunk driving collisions are responsible for 10,000 deaths every year, and about 1/3 of all traffic-related deaths.
We want to thank everyone who came out to participate this year. We look forward to the next one!
