This mornin PPD promoted a couple of their finest to finer positions. Congratulations Sergeants!
Earlier today, the Pasadena Police Department held a promotional ceremony for two of our personnel, who earned this new rank through a rigorous testing and selection process.
Officers Lance Powell and Kris Oliver were both promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Powell had his Sergeant badge pinned on by his wife, DeeAnn, and Oliver had his Sergeant badge pinned on by his father, Bill. The ceremony was attended by their proud family, friends, and numerous co-workers.
We would like to commend Sergeants Powell and Oliver for their hard work and dedication, and we wish them both great success in their well-deserved new roles.
