The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program helps provide Christmas Gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year.
Once a child (12 years and younger) or Senior Angel (62+) has been registered and accepted as an Angel, their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in our community here in East Harris County who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. Donors are only given name and wish list for each child. Personal information is kept confidential.
The Gits are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas Tree.
We collect information to determine qualification for participation in the program:
Photo ID (State ID / Passport)
Proof of Residence ( lease, utility bill, or mail received from the school district or other government agency)
Proof of Guardianship (Birth Certificates/ Official custody of Guardianship)
Applicants can upload scanned copies or take photos with their phones or tablets to upload documentation.
