We ❤️ our volunteers! And we always welcome more!
If you are interested in helping at our shelter, there has never been a better time to get involved. We are starting many new, exciting volunteer programs, like our kennel enrichment program, and need more help than ever before.
Volunteers can help with things like: dog walking, preparing and cleaning dog toys & treats, sorting newspaper, picking up litter that blows in to our dog play areas from the street and parks, going on Doggie Dates, helping at our adoption events and more. Now, you can even take Kongs home with you, prepare them for our dogs and drop them back off at the shelter! (Think of it as Doggie Takeout. 😁)
There are new hours too:
M/W/F: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Dog walking from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.)
T/Th: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Dog walking from 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.)
Sat: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Dog walking from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.)
