The Chamber celebrated alongside Clothed by Faith and Shell Federal Credit Union for a love fest helping others 💝

We are SUPER excited to celebrate alongside Clothed by Faith and Shell Federal Credit Union for their partnership with each other through this generous donation! Learn more about the story behind this photo and about both organizations below:

"The Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team powered by Shell FCU donated 500 garment bags to Clothed by Faith of Katy and Deer Park. This partnership allows Clothed by Faith to assist individuals and families in receiving the items they need to live happy and successful lives. After selecting their items from the Clothed by Faith branches, the recipients will now have washable bags to transport their items neatly and securely.

Clothed by Faith is comprised of two branches, the Katy branch on Dominion and the South East Houston Branch in Deer Park. The mission of both branches is the same – to seek out those who need us the most and provide them with new or gently used clothing. Their objective is to provide a free week of clothing to anyone in need. Donated clothing is gently used but always respectable and clean and all undergarments and socks are always brand new. Those served are in need of clothing for a multitude of unrelated reasons: The person receiving your donated clothing could be a neighbor who has fallen on hard times, a teenager in sheltered accommodation or a foster family needing assistance with an intake of children. These are just three of dozens of different circumstances that lead to destitution. For details visit www.clothedbyfaith.org.

Committed to its communities, Shell Federal Credit Union has improved the lives of thousands through service excellence, community outreach and lasting financial solutions for all stages of life since 1937. Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or regularly conducts business in Harris County, Texas can bank with Shell FCU with only a $5 initial deposit. Shell FCU is federally insured by the NCUA."
