The Animal Shelter’s featured player iiiiisssss Yordan Al-fur-ez 🟠
The Houston Astros are on a winning streak (🎉), and our team is hoping they will be too! Like today's featured player, Yordan Al-fur-ez. 💙🧡
This handsome guy is so gorgeous that everyone who sees him comments on it. But after you're around him for a minute, that stops being the first thing you notice.
Instead, you start noticing how sweet and uncertain he is.
Everything about the shelter seems to be so foreign to him. He doesn't seem scared, exactly. More like he's trying to figure out where in the world he is and what's going on. He spends a lot of time sniffing around, looking at things, investigating sounds, etc.
He very rarely lets himself just rest or relax.
But in those few moments when he does, he's so sweet. He kind of melts into your hand when you're petting his head and leans against your legs.
Every now and then, he puts his head on your knee and closes his eyes a little and sighs, like he's finally letting all of that stress and uncertainty fall away for a minute.
We want him to have more of those moments. If you can help give him that, come by and ask to meet Yordan Al-fur-ez (A162482).
