The Animal Shelter is in need of our help BIGLY. They are packed full and need successful adoptions, foster parents, or share their needs with friends. One, two, or all I'm sure they'd greatly appreciate it. 📺
- If you have been considering adopting, now would be a wonderful time. We have so many amazing dogs and cats here, and they would love to meet you and be part of your family.
- If you can foster -- even short-term -- please let us know. Many dogs here are eligible to be transported to other parts of the country where there are shortages of adoptable animals and waitlists of families who want pets, but first, they have to be fostered for a few weeks outside of the shelter. A short commitment really does change lives!
- Sharing our posts makes a big impact. We hear it every day from people who come in -- they found us on Facebook or Instagram. That's because of all of you who take the time each day to comment, like and share. And we appreciate it so much!
- To all of the current pet owners, if your fur baby gets away from you, please always remember to check with us first. So often, they end up here. Please remind your friends, families and neighbors to check with us too!
- If you are in a situation where you are considering surrendering your pet, please reconsider. If you need help with pet food/supplies or other resources that allow you to keep your pet, please reach out to us. We might be able to help or put you in touch with a group that can. Or if you are in a situation where you need to give up your animal, please try to reach out to friends and family first to find him/her a home. Often, someone will be able to help.
