The Animal Shelter is in great need of adopters and fosters. They took in 67 intakes in less than 7 days and they have no roof.
HELP!!! 67 intakes in less than 7 days!!!
Our building is still in disrepair and many of our animals are still in need of fosters or forever homes. Our capacity typically allows us to care for hundreds of dogs and cats, and that number has been reduced to 30 for the time being. This extreme change has affected not just us, but the entire Pasadena community as well, and this city and its dogs and cats still need your help, now more than ever.
We have always prided ourselves on being a safe place for dogs and cats to go when found in the streets or when their family can no longer care for them. It breaks all of our hearts not being able to help in the same capacity as we did before.
If you have room in your heart for a new family member, please consider adopting/fostering a dog or cat from the Pasadena Animal Shelter. These pets have all been through so much, and by giving them a loving forever or temporary home, you will truly be saving a life.
Our adoptable pets are listed here: our zip code is 77504, you can select our shelter at https://24petconnect.com or here https://www.pasadenatx.gov/509/Deciding-to-Adopt
Our Adoption Center is open for visitation from 11-5 M-F and 11-4 on Saturdays.
