Teamwork at the Pasadena Fire Department recognizing Officer Garcia with the Pasadena City Marshals Office for his bravery 🧯
It’s all about teamwork! The Pasadena Fire Department would like to recognize Officer Garcia with the Pasadena City Marshals Office for his kindness and bravery on a recent fire call.
Thursday Afternoon, around 3pm, the Pasadena Fire Department received reports of a possible fire starting in the bedroom of a residential structure. It is also standard procedure that the Pasadena Police Department is dispatched to every structure fire for traffic control. In this case, officers made the scene shortly before the fire department. Upon their arrival, they attempted to make contact with the residents to ensure everyone was out of the structure. Officer Garcia immediately determined the homeowner, who was wheelchair bound, was still inside the structure. Officer Garcia then assisted the homeowner out of the structure to safety just as firefighters arrived at the scene. Fire crews were able to make entry and quickly extinguish the fire with zero reported injuries. This fire is currently under investigation by the Pasadena Fire Marshal’s Office.
Officer Garcia is a true testament to the bravery & valor of the men and women of Pasadena Public Safety Departments.
