Sydney is a stunner like Burt Renolds, gentle as a mountain stream, and calm as a napping kitten. Go get her!
Sydney is a stunner! She is such a gentle, calm girl too. She is a little uncertain when she approaches and does the canine version of tiptoeing as she walks up to you.
The shelter overwhelms her, but she so desperately wants to be close to you.
So, she walks over bravely anyway, slowly and uncertainly. She slowly lifts her head and then as you pet her, she just melts into you. ❤️
She is a sweetheart who just wants love and affection. When we put the camera down and sat on the floor, she curled up in my lap. When another team member sat on a nearby bench, she rested her head on her knee.
There is no doubt that she would be a loving, devoted companion to whoever gives her the chance.
If that’s you, come by and meet her tomorrow when we reopen. Ask for Sydney (158795), the one-and-a-half year old black Lab mix, when you get here.
