South Houston High HOSA students road tripping to explore UTMB Galveston School of Nursing.
December 16, 2023 · PISD
South Houston HS HOSA students toured UTMB Galveston School of Nursing which is the oldest nursing school in Texas. During their tour, they were able to ask nursing students questions, tour the skills lab and see the museum. One of the highlights was seeing one of Alexander Fleming's microscopes that he actually used! He discovered penicillin back in 1928, so he's kind of a BIG DEAL in the world of medicine.
