Roxy will root for the Stros with you on the couch. Some will say she's such a sweet girl and some will say man! That's the biggest baked potato I've ever seen!
Our sweet Roxie is all ready to root, root, root for the home team ⚾️; now she just needs a home to do that in. She had one for years, but lost it when tragedy struck and now is here and confused by shelter life.
We have a rug she likes. Any time she sees it, she goes right for it and lays down. You can tell that this is a girl who is used to laying on soft blankets and cozy beds in a loving home. We want that for her again.
She is a sweetheart, a big teddy bear who loves to be loved and take it easy.
She will play fetch for about one minute, as long as you throw the ball gently. Then, she takes the ball and lays down with it and pretends not to hear you call her name. 😄
Bubbles confuse her. 😂 She enjoys walks though and walked over a mile on her leash this weekend.
She knows how to sit and shake on command, and her kennel is always clean, which indicates that she is most likely housebroken.
In playgroup, she has done well with other dogs and also has been good with children that we’ve seen her around.
All in all, she’s a home run. If you’re ready to meet this easygoing, loving girl, stop by and ask for Roxie (A146727), the seven-year-old Staffordshire mix.
