Roxie was at the animal shelter years ago and adopted into a great home. Under tragic circumstances she's back.
Poor Roxie is so confused. She has no idea what's going on, who any of us are or why she's here again. She was here years ago and was adopted into a loving home. Through a set of tragic circumstances that were nobody's fault, she's back here now, and it's clear that her whole world has been turned upside down.
When she walks past the couches in our lobby, you can see her eyes go to them, and it's obvious that she's used to curling up on comfy furniture or at someone's feet.
We're told that she was particularly fond of French fries, which aren't on the menu here. And even though she's an easygoing girl, when it's time to walk her back to the kennels and you open the door to the hallway and she hears all the barking, she starts backing up. She is a girl who is used to having a home.
So, please, help us get her out of here.
If you can't adopt or foster, please share this post and share her story, so that maybe you can help us reach someone who can.
Roxie is seven years old and is a Staffordshire mix. From what we've seen, she is a low-energy, laidback girl who mostly likes to lay down, relax, cuddle and enjoy a slower paced life. If you would like to meet her, please come by and ask for Roxie (A146727).
