Rising Through the Ranks Pasadena Police Department Promotes Officer Michael Palitz to Sergeant with Distinction
This morning, the Pasadena Police Department held a promotional ceremony for Officer Michael Palitz, who earned the rank of Sergeant through a rigorous testing process. His wife, Nikki, had the honor of pinning his new badge.
Sgt. Palitz graduated from the 73rd academy class in 2017 and has prior law enforcement experience, having worked for the Honolulu Police Department and the Deschutes County Sherriff's Office, where he served as a Deputy and Rescue Swimmer. Before his law enforcement career began, Sgt. Palitz proudly served in the US Army for seven years.
His proud family, friends, and numerous co-workers attended the ceremony.
We would like to commend Sgt. Palitz for his hard work and dedication, and we wish him great success in his well-deserved new role.
