Protect migratory birds this spring by turning LIGHTS OUT across Texas!
Protect migratory birds this spring by turning LIGHTS OUT across Texas! You can take action by turning out all non-essential lights outside and inside from 11 pm - 6 am every night from March 1 – June 15. Going lights out is particularly important during Peak Migration (April 22 – May 12), when half of the total migratory bird traffic for the season passes through Texas. If keeping lights out is not possible where you live learn how you can reduce light pollution to help migratory birds at https://www.abnc.org/wild-about-abnc-blog/dark-sky Learn more and sign up for bird migration alerts: https://texanbynature.org/projects/lights-out-texas/
