Precinct 8’s family just got a little bigger taking a bigger bite out of crime.
Meet the newest member of the Precinct 8 family, K9 Samus! Samus was graciously gifted to the department by Janelle Green of South Carolina through her father’s (Wayne G. Basler) charitable foundation and
K9s4Cops.org, a non-profit foundation, whose mission is to build a safer future by placing K9 officers in communities and schools. Deputy Jared Humphrey will be Samus' handler and the duo began what will be many weeks of training this past weekend. We look forward to them hitting the streets soon! Thank you to K9s4Cops and Janelle Green for your generous support of law enforcement!
