Precinct 8 took some crisis negotiation training at PPD’s Police Academy last week.
Precinct 8 attended crisis negotiation training at Pasadena Police Department’s Police Academy this week. This course is designed to provide officers with the skills necessary to become effective crisis/hostage negotiators. Crisis Negotiators communicate with people who are suicidal or who are threatening violence including barricaded subjects, stalkers, criminals attempting to escape and most famously, hostage-takers.
