Precinct 8 Deputies honored for battling impaired driving at MADD recognition brunch.
Earlier today, several Precinct 8 Deputies were recognized at the 2023 Southeast Texas "Take the Wheel" Law Enforcement Recognition Brunch hosted by Mother's Against Drunk Driving (MADD). This ceremony is held
each year to honor area law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to battle impaired driving. We are particularly proud of the work the men and women of Precinct 8 do as DWI enforcement is something we have always focused on as an agency. Our Deputies filed nearly 400 DWI cases in 2022, saving countless lives across our area in the process.
