Precicnt 8 Deputies attended TASER training.
This week, Precicnt 8 Deputies attended TASER training taught by Sergeant Gerrish and Deputy Wingfield.
During this training, Deputies are informed and directed the proper tactics and procedures in deploying the TASER. The training consists of classroom and scenario-based application on the use of the TASER and each Deputy has the option of being on the receiving end of a TASER to experience its effects firsthand and to be able to articulate the use of a TASER if needed. All Precicnt 8 Deputies are required to take this training.
