The flashing yellow arrow signals are coming to an intersection near you. Here is a guide on what to expect:
SOLID RED ARROW: means STOP. No left turn allowed.
SOLID YELLOW ARROW: means the signal is about to turn red and you should PREPARE to STOP.
FLASHING YELLOW ARROW: Left turn allowed, but you must YIELD to oncoming traffic/ pedestrians.
SOLID GREEN ARROW: You have a PROTECTED LEFT TURN. Oncoming traffic must stop.
The other lights on the traffic signals are the same: RED means STOP, GREEN means GO, and YELLOW means it's about to turn red, SO YOU BETTER FLOOR IT! ( just kidding 😉 )
