PPD’s 2023 Summer Kids Camp. Connecting PISD students with first responders for an unforgettable experience.
We had a fantastic time during our 2023 Summer Kid’s Camp. This year, Red Bluff Elementary and its staff opened their doors to our program and provided us with a safe and comfortable location to engage with children from our community. This program is an opportunity for PISD students to engage with officers on a personal level to socialize and, in the process, learn about first responder operations. We want also to thank the following first responder agencies that participated in the program, as well as the local business that provided meals and/or a facility for our campers to visit: Pasadena Fire Marshal's Office Pasadena Fire Department Station No. 5 Harris County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol PHI Air Medical: Medevac & Air Ambulance Services Ally Medical ER Clear Lake Armadilla Lanes 1 (3210 Preston Ave., Pasadena, TX) Houston Zoo (6200 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX) Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery (1630 Spencer Hwy, South Houston, TX ) McDonald's (4625 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX) Peter Piper Pizza ( 3471 East Sam Houston Pkwy S, Pasadena, TX) Chick-fil-A Spencer & Burke (3700 Spencer Highway, Pasadena YX) Raising Cane's (7009 Gulf Fwy., Houston, TX)
