We were honored to have the opportunity to swear in the new board members of the Pasadena Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association last night, who are listed below. These members serve not only their association but also our department and community through numerous volunteer hours. Their dedication and commitment to service is an inspiration to us all. We would also like to take a moment to recognize the outgoing board members who faced numerous challenges as they worked throughout the pandemic. President Gene Wheeler, in particular, has served with honor and grace as he selflessly extended his term to ensure the association continued to operate successfully amidst the difficulties they faced. Join us in congratulating these new board members and in conveying our appreciation to those who have served the last few years.
