PPD nightshift, Watchdog Realtor, and Landmark Furniture helped lighten up a couple family's Christmas! 🎄👮🎄👮🎄

December 22, 2021 · POLICE, PPD

Not only does our Evening Shift Patrol Division serve our community every day through their official duties, but they also found a fun way to spread a little holiday cheer during this Christmas Season.

Officers assigned to the shift discovered two families in our community, both with single moms working hard to provide for their kids, who just needed a little bit of extra help this Christmas. Not wanting to pass up an opportunity to be a blessing, the shift pitched in their own money to help buy Christmas gifts and other necessities for both families. The officers also received some help of their own from two local area businesses - Watchdog Realtor - Adam Sanders and Landmark Furniture (Pasadena) - who really elevated the blessing.

Both families were invited to the police station, where the kids were greeted by several evening-shift officers and supervisors, who had cookies and hot cocoa waiting. Officers enjoyed spending time with the families and helping the kids put some of their toys together. Then, at the end of the night, we delivered all of the toys to their homes in a special police sleigh!

Selfless acts of kindness like these are what make the Pasadena Police Department and its officers very special. We want to wish both families a very Merry Christmas!
