Aggravated Assault
On Sunday, June 5, 2022, at approximately 9:50 P.M., officers were dispatched to 1520 Southmore Ave. in reference to a large affray inside the business. As the business manager escorted two patrons outside through a side door, an unidentified individual, who was still inside the restaurant, fired a handgun in their direction, striking one of them. The victim in this case was transported to Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston for treatment of his injury, which is believed to be non-life-threatening.
The business' surveillance system did not record at the time of the incident; however, witnesses of the affray provided cell phone video to the investigator. The Pasadena Police Department's Violent Crimes Division is asking for the public's assistance by providing any additional video or information concerning this incident that will assist in identifying and locating the suspect; any witnesses can remain anonymous.
