PISD Nutrition Services received a $19,000 grant
Pasadena ISD Nutrition Services received the following Grant:
2022 No Kid Hungry - School Nutrition Grant
Grant Amount: $19,000
The funds will purchase a new tilt skillet for Pasadena Memorial High School.
The current tilt skillet is not functional which has increased the serving times. Alternate ways are being used to cook or steam various menu items. A new tilt skillet will improve the quality of the food served and expedite the service to allow more students to be served each period.
