PISD has scored a $1,112,500 grant!
Pasadena ISD has received the following Grant:
2022-2024 Texas Education Agency: COVID Learning Acceleration Supports, Decision 11: High Quality Afterschool Grant Award
Grant Amount: $1,112,500
Funds from this grant will help PISD accelerate student learning by providing a safe and healthy environment after school. Students will explore themes and activities based on student needs. The activities will be both academic and enriching in nature, including targeted academic support aligned with individual student needs and high quality curriculum and instruction
The program will operate in spring 2022 and continue each fall and spring semesters until May 2024. During the grant period, the program will serve an estimated 225 students per year.
Schools benefiting from this program are Richey, Teague, May Smythe, Gardens and Golden Acres Elementary Schools.
