PFD reminder of the four P's. Stay warm
Today officially kicks off the first day of Winter. With an arctic freeze in the horizon this weekend, we want to remind folks to Protect The 4 P's (People, Pipes, Pets, and Plants).
👩👩👦 - Make sure you dress warm and dress in layers! Check on family and neighbors who may be vulnerable to the cold temperatures — especially if they are older or disabled.
💧 - Frozen water in pipes could expand, causing it to potentially burst, or block flow. If you have exposed pipes outside your home, check that they are insulated by using blankets or towels.
🐶 - Do not forget about our furry friends! Do not leave your furry friends outside. Make sure you bring them inside to be warm and cozy!
🌱 - Bring in plants to avoid frozen damage.
