Pasadenians, we got heartworm problems.
While the good news is that heartworms are very treatable, the bad news is that the high incidence of this parasite in our community means that your pet is at greater risk. Please keep your dogs on preventative year round.
Also, please have your dogs tested annually. This disease progresses silently at first, but in the later stages, it's simply devastating. So, please, please guard your dog's heart!
