Pasadena Fire Department assisted an eighteen wheeler that smashed on the overpass at 225 and Red Bluff Thursday around 3:30pm 🚒📺
Around 3:30pm on Thursday afternoon, a Pasadena Fire Department support unit arrived on scene of an 18-wheeler that overturned on the overpass at the intersection of State Highway 225 and Red Bluff Road. Based on that support unit’s initial assessment and large amount of liquid product on board, a hazardous material assignment was dispatched. The driver of the 18-wheeler was fortunate to escape the vehicle prior to overturning on the overpass. The scene was stabilized by responders and turned over to environmental clean-up contractors. This incident is under investigation by the Pasadena Fire Marshal's Office and the Pasadena Police Department.
