One of the Animals Shelter's biggest adoption events of the year is at The Pasadena Strawberry Festival. Go find your forever friend this weekend.
We are packing up, getting ready for one of our biggest adoption events of the year at The Pasadena Strawberry Festival this weekend and Liberty was “helping” us. 😁
This adorable goofball loved all of the strawberry bandanas and kept picking them up until we finally put one of her, and she must have known how cute she looked, because she started doing zoomies all around the lobby.
(And yes, in this picture, she is standing on top of the dog house because that’s how she thinks it works. 🤣)
It’s hard to believe that this is the same shy girl who used to army crawl around all of us. She has come so far, and if you give her a chance to get to know you, she will show you this side too.
The entertainer who gets bursts of playfulness where she runs all around the room like a track star. The toy aficionado who loves soft, plush toys that she can carry around with her and snuggle. The girl who has no concept of personal space and will jump up on your lap and put her face right on top of your head or nose to nose, just because she loves you so much.
She is a favorite of staff members and volunteers here. More than one has commented that if they could add another dog to their family, it would be her.
And yet, she’s been here more than 150 days. It’s time to change that.
