On Friday afternoon, the Pasadena Fire Department received reports of smoke coming from the wooded area adjacent to Crenshaw Park. First arriving units advised of a large amount of white smoke coming from the area. Fire crews extinguished the fire, placing a halt on the spread. A special thank you to Pasadena Public Works for assisting crews with clearing the large amount of brush and allowing crews to gain access to the root of the fire.
