Officer Ibarra has retired from a long career at PPD. Congratulations!
After almost 34 years of dedicated service to the Pasadena Police Department and the citizens of Pasadena, we would like to congratulate Officer Raul Ibarra on his recent retirement.
Officer Ibarra began his career with the Pasadena Police Department in 1989 after proudly serving our country in the United States Marine Corps. Officer Ibarra has been assigned to the Night and Day Shift Patrol, Narcotics Division, and Community Services, and his last assignment was in the Juvenile Division. Throughout his many years of dedicated service to the citizens of Pasadena, Officer Ibarra has received numerous accolades and awards for his outstanding performance. While assigned to the Community Services Division, Officer Ibarra was highly regarded for being a D.A.R.E. instructor. Many of his students still reach out to him occasionally, and Officer Ibarra is always proud to see how some of those young kids have grown up to be professionals in many different fields, including some that work for us at the Pasadena Police Department.
Upon retiring from the Pasadena Police Department, Raul will continue his law enforcement career with the Harris County P.C.T. 3 Constable’s office. We wish you the absolute best and never forget you will always be a part of our police family.
