Officer Cody Gassett with Pasadena Police and bomb buds went the extra 5k for Kelsey. Thank You! ❤️👊
Officer Cody Gassett with the Pasadena Police Department, who is also a member of the Bay Area Regional Bomb Squad, had the profound honor to participate in the 5K for Kelsey event that was held in League City this past weekend.
Officer Gassett joined his fellow members of the Bomb Squad in walking this 5k while donned in a full bomb suit. This 5k is held each year in honor of Kelsey Nalepa, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 2017 when she was just 8 years old.
We want to salute Officer Gassett for his willingness to join his fellow bomb technicians in participating in this special event that serves to honor a life and bring awareness to the dangers of drunk driving.
