New Team Member at the Chamber!
Christian Rocha, Membership Coordinator
Christian, a Pasadena native, is an outgoing and charismatic professional who has a colorful background in hospitality and more. While in college, Christian was a tour guide for Tarleton State University where she worked with numerous campus officials and prospective students communicating the benefits of Tarleton and was featured in a plethora of marketing campaigns. A highlight of Christian's college experience was that she was featured on a billboard for Tarleton. She also was a Social Media Coach of the Texas Social Media Research Institute where she created social media content for local organizations and surrounding businesses. Christian graduated from Tarleton in 2017 with a BA in Communication Studies focused on Public Relations and Event Management.
Following graduation Christian pursued the hospitality industry where she excelled in providing superior customer service and marketing various companies which led her into hotel management. During her time as a Hotel Manager, she gained valuable skills in communicating the value of her property, operations, and supervising a team. Her education, experience, and motivation to succeed makes her a great asset to the Chamber. Christian spends her leisure time as a volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, playing recreational volleyball, and taking her German Shepherd, Stella, to the dog park.
Christian shared, “I am passionate about the community I grew up in and representing something greater than me. It has been a passion of mine to work within the city that raised me and provided the resources to be successful. The Pasadena Chamber is a prominent foundation for our city and I look forward to promoting businesses and connecting the community.”
Christian will focus on communicating the value and benefits of chamber membership, engaging and connecting existing members and serve as a liasion to our Ambassadors and Sales teams. She will represent the chamber at various community events and onboard all new members through scheduling ribbon cuttings and member celebrations.
