Last night at 11:17 PM, Precinct 8 Deputies Campbell and Mitchell were on a traffic stop when they heard multiple gun shots and observed a gray sedan with several bullet holes drive by. Deputies initiated a felony stop on the vehicle in the 1400 block of Redford St and discovered one of the occupants had sustained a gunshot wound. Deputy Mitchell rendered aid to the individual and both deputies worked to help secure the scene. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was connected to a shooting HPD responded to in the 1000 block of Edgebrook Dr. The case was ultimately turned over to HPD Detectives for investigation.
