Moments like these are why we do what we do. Sawyer needs a good home of his own. 🐕

Sawyer was so scared that he had to be carried the whole way from his kennel to the lobby, where we usually do photo shoots....

When we put him down on the floor, his entire body was shaking so badly that he could hardly stand. We gave him lots of love and affection and told him what a good boy he was, and after a few minutes when he finally lifted his head all the way, we weren’t 100% sure what to expect. He began giving us kisses. ❤️ Licking our hands and cautiously walking over to us for more cuddles. Moments like that are why we do what we do. And it’s why Sawyer needs a home of his own. He came to us after being abandoned in a home. His family moved and left him behind. So, now he’s here and terrified. And he deserves better. He needs love, all the time. He needs people to help him trust again. He showed signs of wanting to play with the toys we had. He loved treats. And he came in with another dog, so we think he is probably dog-friendly. With a little time and patience, we think he’d be an incredible addition to your household. He just needs someone who won’t walk away from him. If you can be that person for him, come by and ask to meet five-month-old Sawyer (A159666). Pasadena Animal Shelter 5150 Burke Road Pasadena, TX 77504 (281) 991-0602 Image removed.
