Milo showed up with a heavy chain around his neck and skinnier than the three shredded pieces of cheese on a Taco Bell taco. He's great now but could use a permanent home.

Handsome Milo was brought in with a heavy chain around his neck and so underweight that you could practically count his ribs. He has thrived in the shelter, steadily gaining weight and getting affection and attention from all of the volunteers and staff members who meet him and promptly fall completely in love with him.

But we want more for him. This sweet guy deserves it.

He is friendly with everyone he meets (people and other dogs). He recently went on a Doggie Date, and his date described him as "an extremely low-key pet who loves to relax on an oversized dog bed or with you on the couch, while watching TV/movies."

She said he does not bark and listened to all commands, including: sit, shake, come, and lay down. His date also reported that he is potty trained with great house manners.

This three-year-old guy has seemingly had a somewhat rough start to his life, and it's a bit heartbreaking that the 150 days spent in the shelter have been some of his best. Please share his story and help us find him a real home -- a forever home.

If you think that home might be with you, please email us or come by and ask to meet Milo (A147027).
