MiFi Hotspots are available at the Library
Need a device to get online at home? Check out a WiFi Hotspot from the Pasadena Public Library! Made possible through our partnership with Harris County Public Library.
Using taxes, American Rescue Plan Act funding, HCPL is partnering with T-Mobile and Google to put connectivity and technology into the hands of the people who find themselves on the wrong side of the digital divide. We will make 40,000 T-Mobile 5G MiFi hotspots for home internet connections and 15,000 Google Chromebook laptop computers available for extended check out to anyone who needs them.
If you do not have internet access where you live or do not have a computer, YOU QUALIFY.
If you are not able to do all of the things you need and want to do because your internet service or computer is too slow or too unreliable, YOU QUALIFY.
Available at both Pasadena Public Library locations. There are no income restrictions. All you need is a Pasadena Library card.
Wi-Fi service and check-outs will go through June 30, 2022. If additional funding becomes available, the wi-fi service will be extended.
