Michelle Wheeler has been named Teacher of the Year by VFW. 🥳
Each year, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) chapters nominate K-12 teachers for the Smart Maher National Citizenship Education Teacher program.
This year, VFW selected Michelle Wheeler, eighth grade math teacher at Park View Intermediate, as the district-level Teacher of the Year. 👏
"It is so refreshing to see a teacher being recognized for stepping up and staying positive when times are tough. She is caring, nurturing and takes care of her family, her students and our work family." said Park View Intermediate Principal Christina Serna.
