Memorial’s Community Emergency Response Team excels in leadership, service, and engagement at MS150.
HOSA - Future Health Professionals "CERTainly" know how to live their purpose of leadership, service, and engagement.
These Teen CERT (community emergency response team)students met me on Saturday before 6 am to travel to Bellville where they volunteered as bicycle traffic control and safety monitors at Breakpoint 4 of the MS150!
They kept the riders moving in a safe traffic pattern to prevent collisions, cheered the riders on, and made sure they were not experiencing medical concerns that should be evaluated.
What a fun way to serve our community, support research for multiple sclerosis, and engage in leadership activities that build their confidence.
