Meet one of PPD’s greatest Marissa, a dedicated police officer and loving Mother.

The next mother we are featuring is one of our Police Service Officers, Marissa Maldonado.

Marissa began working for our department in January 2021 as a Police Service Officer in our dispatch center and the jail. Before working for our department, she was a telecommunicator for the Houston Emergency Center, working part-time while attending the High School for Law and Justice. She is a mother to her adorable son Matthew who is 3 years old, and when she is not at work, she enjoys attending Astros games and watching movies with her family.
