Mavs future health pros toured the Infectious Disease Lab and the Blood Manufacturing/Processing Lab at MD Anderson.

MAVHOSA had a great tour of the MD Anderson Blood Center today.

The students in attendance were an integral part of recruiting donors for our on campus blood drives.

These Future Health Professionals were able to see the Infectious Disease Lab and the Blood Manufacturing/Processing Lab. They learned the fascinating history of blood transfusion and got to do a blood typing activity to discover what blood type they have.
