LPPD recieved a huge donation for $50 grand from Sulzer Services. 👊
The La Porte Police Department is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous charitable donation from a local La Porte business, Sulzer Services. Sulzer Services President, Darayus Pardivala was on hand at the company’s annual golf tournament to present Chief Steve Deardorff with a check for $50,000.00.
“We cannot thank Mr. Pardivala and Sulzer Services enough for their generosity and we are extremely grateful to have them as a community partner. Their kind act will support often underfunded programs throughout the police department. Our crime victims liaison is an important community asset who we often call on to help those individuals and families who are victims of both violent and non-violent crimes. The liaison provides a vital link for victims in need of important items like food, shelter, and clothing, to name just a few. In addition to this program, funds will be allocated to our Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, our summer youth camps, and police equipment. Again, our sincerest thanks to Mr. Pardivala and Sulzer Services.” Chief Steve Deardorff
