Last weekend the American Legion Post 319 held its Annual awards ceremony recognizing first responders in our area for going above and beyond the call of duty. Preciate PPD Officer Traxler! 👊
This past weekend American Legion Post 319 held its Annual awards ceremony recognizing first responders in our area for going above and beyond the call of duty. This year our own Officer Kevin Traxler was honored for his work with our Mental Health and Homeless population and his compassion towards our veteran community.
Officer Traxler was recently contacted by @Precinct 8 Constables office regarding a homeless veteran in our city that had recently lost his home. Along with Pct. 8 Deputy Amanda Macik, Officer Traxler was able to locate the individual and work with him to provide the resources he needed.
Thank you, Kevin, for going above and beyond and setting an example for others.
